relaxed yet thoughtful approach to creating natural and elegant imagery for stylish couples who value the experience as much as the photographs

Your France wedding is a beautiful mix of emotions, moments, and experiences. It’s a celebration of the two of you, surrounded by your closest loved ones, sharing in this incredible and exciting time in your lives. As a France wedding photographer, my role is to quietly document the care, time, and intention poured into every detail – the months spent meticulously planning – while you stay fully present with the people who matter most. It’s about bringing together your values, traditions, and style to create an experience for you and your guests that is wholeheartedly yours and unforgettable.

As your day unfolds, it’s just as important to document everything in an authentic way. My relaxed, unobtrusive approach as your France wedding photographer allows you to be fully present while feeling completely at ease in front of the camera. I’ll help gently guide you when needed, but I also know when to take a step back and let moments unfold naturally. You’ll receive editorial-style photographs that are natural yet elegant, full of warmth and emotion – images that truly capture the essence of your day.

“Frances has such a stunning organic style to her work. When we received our photos we were in awe at the romantic and cinematic feel. They look like art rather than just photographs. She was an absolutely golden find.”

My approach as your France wedding photographer

I have a relaxed and unobtrusive approach, blending in with your guests to document your wedding day fully. Capturing the big emotional moments, the small quiet ones, and everything in between. I want you to be fully present on your wedding day, soaking in every moment and celebrating with your favourite people. I love to capture your day in a way that feels natural, effortless, and true to you. Nothing forced or unnatural, just honest and authentic photographs that take you back to how it all felt.

With a love for natural light and an eye for the little details, I create warm, timeless images filled with emotion in an editorial style. More than anything, I want you to feel comfortable and at ease. I want you to enjoy your day knowing I’ve got everything covered. Because when you are relaxed and fully immersed in your day, that’s when the best moments unfold. That’s when the most beautiful, natural, and emotive photographs are captured.

“Frances captured our wedding day with elegance and sophistication, documenting the most special moments flawlessly. She went above and beyond, and we continue to get compliments on our photos. We would choose Frances again in an instant.”

Where I Photograph Weddings in France

While I work across France as a wedding photographer, I focus most of my work within the four regions closest to my home – Normandy, Paris, the Loire Valley and Brittany. These are some of the most beautiful parts of the country for France destination weddings.

Normandy Wedding Photographer

I’m based in Normandy, and many of the weddings I photograph take place in the beautiful French countryside found here! As a Normandy wedding photographer what I love about this location is that you have a huge array of venues of different styles to choose from. Such as chateaus, manoirs and domaines to name just a few. Whether you’re planning something intimate or grand, there is something for everyone here. Plus, all these venues can be exclusively rented for a few days which makes this location perfect for a destination wedding.

Brittany Wedding photographer

Brittany offers a countryside setting that feels similar to Normandy but with its own character. As a Brittany wedding photographer, what I appreciate about this region is the mix of chateau venues and private estates that allow you to celebrate entirely in one place, often with coastal views! Many of the venues here can be exclusively rented, which makes them perfect for destination weddings where you want all your guests together for the full experience. You can truly make your day your own – from large countryside celebrations to something more intimate and relaxed.

Loire Valley Wedding Photographer

The Loire Valley is one of the most stunning regions in France for chateau weddings. As a Loire Valley wedding photographer, what makes this area so special is the concentration of incredible historic venues set amongst vineyards and countryside. It has a slightly warmer, more southern feel than northern France, which makes it ideal for outdoor ceremonies and long summer evenings. If you’re planning a multi-day destination wedding and want that classic French chateau setting, the Loire Valley offers so many beautiful options to choose from.

Paris Wedding Photographer

I photograph weddings in Paris as well as in the countryside surrounding the city. The range of options available in Paris is amazing – from elegant city venues and boutique hotels to beautiful chateau properties just outside the centre. If you love the idea of being in close proximity to Paris but don’t neccessarily want the city centre vibes, there are so many incredible venues within a couple of hours of Paris. Whether you’re planning something refined and intimate or a larger chateau celebration, you can really shape the experience to suit you.
