Small French Chateau Wedding – Morgan & Cody

Small French Chateau Wedding photographer
It was a perfect day for this small French Chateau wedding with Morgan and Cody who travelled from the states for their gorgeous intimate celebration at Chateau de Bouthonvilliers. They had brought only their nearest and dearest with them, with a guest count of only 20 to celebrate together.
A really special moment to photograph was Morgan and Cody’s first touch – a beautiful alternative to a first look if you want the first time you see each other to be down the aisle, but yet want a moment together before the ceremony. These two took the opportunity to read their vows to each other for the first time in a quiet, private intimate setting before the ceremony.
Morgan and Cody had such an incredible day and it was such an honour to capture these memories for them!

the couples vision for their Small French chateau wedding
Morgan and Cody’s wedding was the perfect combination of black tie elegance with natural white and green garden florals, which gave the day an elevated yet relaxed feel. The florals were provided by Angelique at the Painted Bouquet, and she created a stunning floral arch for their ceremony which took place on the grounds of the chateau. Morgan wanted touches of the classic French chateau blue throughout the wedding, so hand embroidered all of her guests names onto napkins for the meal. They also had other subtle blue touches, such as blue ribbon on their printed vows and blue blankets for their guests during the ceremony.
kind words from the couple
“If you’re thinking about booking Frances to capture your day, don’t think another second. You will not regret having Frances as your photographer. Frances went above and beyond when it came to my now husband and I’s wedding day.
Not only that, but she captured every detail of our day perfectly. We now have stunning portraits where she helped pose us as well as candid shots that capture the ambiance of our day exceptionally. It felt so natural and fun, like we were taking photos with a long time friend. In addition to that, she captured the most special moments flawlessly. The raw emotion of love and joy you can see in the photos cannot be recreated.
I’m not sure how I can work with Frances in the future, but I will find a way because that’s just how much we loved having her as apart of our day. Even guests at our wedding mentioned just how fabulous she is at what she does. Thank you Frances for everything!”
