A Romantic Paris Wedding Photoshoot in the City with Stephanie and Paul

A Paris wedding photoshoot is such a beautiful way to celebrate your wedding in a different way. Whether you’re newly married, planning a pre-wedding shoot, or simply want to put wedding attire back on again, Paris offers endless possibilities. You can keep things classic, modern, relaxed, or playful – and make it completely your own.
One of the things I love most as a Paris wedding photographer about these shoots is the freedom. There’s no pressure, no strict timeline, and no expectations beyond enjoying the experience together. It’s a chance to slow down, explore the city, and create something meaningful while dressed in a way that feels special.
Stephanie and Paul’s shoot was calm, romantic, and full of quiet moments, mixed with a sense of fun and ease as we moved through some of Paris’ most iconic locations.

Paris Wedding Photos at the Louvre
We began at the Louvre Museum, one of the most classic and romantic locations in the city for a wedding photoshoot. The architecture here is timeless. The arches, grand steps, and elegant details create such a strong sense of place, while the pyramids add something unmistakably Parisian.
Even though the Louvre is always busy, it’s a location that offers so much variety. On even the most crowded days, there are always calmer pockets to be found. That contrast is what makes it so special. You can move between bold, dramatic backdrops and quieter moments that feel surprisingly intimate.
The late afternoon light worked beautifully here, softening the stone and adding warmth to the scene. It was the perfect way to ease into the shoot.

Viewpoint of the Eiffel Tower Around Paris
From there, we headed to a quiet residential street with a beautiful viewpoint of the Eiffel Tower. It’s one of those places that feels very Parisian. The atmosphere here was calm and relaxed, a lovely contrast to some of the busier spots in the city, and it felt like the perfect place to slow things down and take it all in.

Evening Photos at Trocadéro and Along the Seine
As the light faded, we moved to Trocadéro during blue hour. The energy here was lively and buzzing, with the city fully alive as night approached. It’s a location that feels electric at this time of day, and it added such a different mood to the shoot. Stephanie changed into a shorter party dress for this part of the shoot, planned specifically for the evening. The look felt fun and effortless, and perfectly matched the nighttime feel of Paris.
Once the sun had fully set, we wandered down to the Seine River. The atmosphere shifted again. Calmer, quieter, and more cinematic, it was the perfect way to end the day.

A Paris Wedding Photoshoot Captured Naturally
This shoot is a perfect example of how versatile Paris can be for wedding photos. From grand landmarks to quiet streets, daytime elegance to evening energy, it offers so many ways to tell a story.
I love photographing wedding-style shoots like this because they allow couples to simply enjoy each other. It’s all about exploring an incredible city and creating something beautiful together. Everything is kept relaxed and natural, with gentle guidance when needed, so the experience feels just as good as the photos look. If you’re dreaming of a Paris wedding photoshoot, I’d love to help you create something that feels personal, stylish, and completely your own.
