An intimate elopement at Hotel Alfred Sommier with Taina and Louis-Victor

This Hotel Alfred Sommier elopement is a styled inspiration shoot, created to show just one way an elegant Paris elopement could look. Think of it as a starting point! Something to pull ideas from, mix together, and make your own. Whether you’re dreaming of something calm and intimate, or playful and full of movement, Paris gives you so much freedom to create a day that feels completely personal.
Eloping in Paris, just the two of you, is one of those ideas that never loses its magic. The city offers endless possibilities, from quiet hotel mornings to lively streets, iconic landmarks, and everything in between. You can shape the day entirely around what feels right for you, taking it at your own pace and soaking up the experience together.

Hotel Alfred Sommier Elopement Inspiration
Hotel Alfred Sommier is a beautiful option for couples planning an elopement in Paris. Set in a historic private mansion, it offers classic Parisian elegance with a calm, refined atmosphere that feels perfect for an intimate day.
For this day, Taina and Louis-Victor got ready together in their room, keeping the morning slow and calm. The light pouring through the large windows was incredible, highlighting the ornate details and giving everything that timeless Parisian feel. We captured portraits in the room first, then moved through different parts of the hotel. We used the staircase, quiet corners, and the courtyard, before finishing with portraits at the front of the hotel.
One of the things I love about this location is the variety it offers without needing to go far. From indoor spaces to outdoor backdrops, it’s easy to create a full gallery that feels varied and cohesive. For this part of the day, the look stayed classic, with a long wedding dress that felt elegant and refined, perfectly suited to the setting.

A Fun City Look and Exploring Paris Together
Afterwards, Taina changed into a more fashion-forward city look, something easier to move in and perfect for wandering through Paris. This is where an elopement can really start to feel like an experience, not just a photoshoot.
We explored the streets slowly, stopping for coffee at a café, and taking everything in without any rush. Travelling through the city in a classic Citroën 2CV was a real highlight and such a fun way to see Paris in true French style. It’s an experience couples can easily build into their own elopement plans.
We finished this part of the shoot at Place de la Concorde, surrounded by the buzz of the city. The energy here felt iconic and lively, a beautiful contrast to the quiet calm of the hotel earlier in the day. After that, we headed back to the hotel, giving the couple space to relax together and enjoy the rest of the day at their own pace.

Hotel Alfred Sommier Elopement Inspiration Captured Naturally
This photoshoot was all about showing how an elopement in Paris can feel relaxed, fun, and beautifully considered. My approach is always to capture things naturally, focusing on real moments and connection. Yet still offering gentle direction and support so you can feel comfortable and confident throughout the day.
If you’re dreaming of eloping in Paris, I’d love to help you create something that feels easy and personal. The focus is natural, elegant photography that lets the day flow as it should.
