I had the pleasure of being the photographer for Jennifer and Forlan’s wedding day at the stunning Chateau le Mas de Montet in the Dordogne. It was a beautifully warm August day so the weather was perfect. The chateau grounds were decorated with locally grown rustic florals bringing such a welcoming and relaxed feel to the wedding celebrations.

Jen and Forlan had incredible energy, a warmth that makes you feel instantly comfortable in their presence. The amount of love that surrounded them on this day is a true testament to how wonderful of a couple these two are. So many beautiful, love-filled and joyous moments which were an absolute pleasure to photograph!

Chateau le mas de montet wedding venue

Tucked away in the peaceful countryside of the Dordogne, Chateau le Mas de Montet is the perfect blend of history, charm, and modern comfort. A grand tree-lined avenue leads you to this stunning Renaissance-style chateau. The chateau offers total privacy while still being close to Bordeaux and its world-famous vineyards.

With origins dating back to the 15th/16th centuries, the chateau has been beautifully restored to keep its character intact. It feels like a hidden gem, surrounded by century-old trees and set near the river. Such an incredible and tranquil setting for a wedding! There’s a heated pool for summer stays, bikes to explore the grounds, and plenty of space for guests to unwind.

For weddings, the venue has everything you could need. Stunning gardens for an outdoor ceremony and a gorgeous barn for dinner and dancing. There are ten stylish rooms to host your closest family and friends. Plus, the nearby village of Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, named one of the most beautiful villages in France, adds even more charm to the experience. It’s a place that feels effortlessly romantic, just perfect for a wedding.

Jennifer and Forlan dreamed of a wedding filled with warmth, style, and sunshine. More than anything, they wanted to be surrounded by their closest loved ones in the most incredible setting in the Dordogne. From the start, they envisioned a day that felt relaxed and effortless. A day they could truly soak in, without any rush or pressure.

Their florals brought so much life to the celebration. They chose a rustic style, bursting with colour, to complement the beauty of Chateau le Mas de Montet. The bright, natural arrangements made everything feel vibrant yet elegant. Every detail was carefully chosen to reflect what mattered most to them. Being present, celebrating with the people they love and making unforgettable memories together.
