Domaine de la Fauconnie – Emily & Arinze

Domaine de la Fauconnie wedding photographer
What an incredible day this was at Domaine de la Fauconnie with Emily and Arinze as their wedding photographer. From our first call, I knew Emily and Arinze were going to be such a joy to work with. They had so much love for each other, their adorable daughter Florence, and a huge amount of passion for their long anticipated wedding celebrations.
We originally met in Paris last year, for an engagement session across the magical Paris. By the end of the day, it was was like we were old friends, and the wedding couldn’t come around quick enough!
Their wedding day was full of so much beauty, music and fun and I loved every moment! They had to turn to Plan B due to the drizzly weather, but it certainly didn’t dampen anyones spirits and everyone had such an amazing time. I always say that if you’re having a good time, your guests will be too! And really, when it comes down to it – the weather doesn’t matter at all.

the couples vision for their Domaine de la Fauconnie wedding
This wedding was always going to be something special – joyful, full of music, and bursting with that infectious, feel-good energy. With a lifelong love of musical theatre, Emily had always dreamed of a Mamma Mia–inspired day. Something blue, rustic, and filled with happiness, songs, and dancing. Arinze, on the other hand, wanted a celebration that felt simple, classic, and elegant. Domaine de la Fauconnie was the perfect place to bring both of their visions together, with its beautiful countryside setting and those dreamy blue shutters. Every little detail throughout the day was so thoughtfully chosen, making the whole day feel effortlessly meaningful, personal, and completely them.
kind words from the couple
“We instantly LOVED Frances’ body of work and style which matched our vision. Her profile had warmth, romance, classic elegance, timelessness, and natural beauty. To this day, I am so grateful we came across Frances’s profile. Her work truly captured the essence of our special moments, and we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. She captured our engagement photos in the capital of France, Paris. I highly recommend having an engagement shoot, as it was a great way to become familiar in front of the camera and understand how a photographer works. The pictures we received still warm my heart to this day, and they will also certainly be ones we look back on when we grow old with a smile! Frances really knew how to make the photos magical while keeping those special moments alive.
On our wedding day, Frances’s talent and dedication truly shone through in every photo. Her professionalism and warm personality made us feel at ease throughout the entire process, which is exactly how your wedding day should feel. The whole gallery, from start to finish, is absolutely stunning. I’m so grateful Frances was able to pinpoint those special moments, allowing us to see how the day unfolded around us.
We would recommend Frances to anyone in a heartbeat! It goes to show that even 9 months later, we are still looking at our photos and cherishing the memories. Her work truly stands the test of time.”
