Brooke and Dom’s wedding at the beautiful Chateau la Durantie was such a joy to photograph. It was a warm August day, and these two were absolutely radiant, with so much laughter and constant smiles. I loved every second of documenting their day, capturing those stylish, romantic frames that truly reflected the atmosphere of their celebration.

Chateau la Durantie provided the perfect backdrop, with its timeless charm and elegant surroundings. Every detail of their celebration felt so true to them, and it was such a pleasure to document it all in a way that felt natural and real. And to top it off, the night ended with the most incredible fireworks! A magical way to wrap up an unforgettable day.

The chateau can host weddings for up to 150 guests, with luxurious on-site accommodation for up to 40. The high-ceilinged rooms, adorned with antique furnishings, provide a stunning backdrop for celebrations. The expansive gardens offer space to relax and soak in the beauty of the French countryside. From the heated swimming pool to the tennis court, there’s plenty for guests to enjoy throughout their stay.

Brooke and Dom envisioned a wedding that was effortlessly elegant, timeless, and full of joy. Chateau la Durantie provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration, with its stunning gardens and classic French charm. They chose a refined green and white floral color scheme, bringing a natural, sophisticated touch to the day. The bridesmaids wore different shades of deep green, adding a beautifully coordinated yet unique feel to the bridal party.

Their outdoor reception was nothing short of breathtaking! Tables styled to perfection, a relaxed atmosphere, and a setting that encouraged laughter, connection, and celebration. But one of the most meaningful touches was the seat saved at the front of the ceremony. Such a heartfelt way to honour a loved one who was deeply missed. It was such a touching tribute, and a beautiful reminder of the love that surrounded them on their special day. From start to finish, their wedding felt warm, stylish, and full of love—a perfect reflection of who they are as a couple.
