A joyful and elegant Chateau de la Valouze wedding with Kasey and Parker

The most glorious October day celebrating Kasey and Parker’s Chateau de la Valouze wedding in the Dordogne! Welcoming, fun, and vibrant from the very start, this was a celebration that felt full of life, colour, and excitement, with family and friends travelling over from the States to be part of it all.
This setting couldn’t have been more perfect for the kind of day they planned. Everything felt relaxed and joyful, with a real sense of togetherness running through every moment. It was such a pleasure to be there capturing a wedding that felt so full of warmth, energy, and genuine happiness.

the couple’s vision for their chateau wedding
Kasey and Parker wanted their wedding to feel like a big celebration. A chance to bring everyone together, enjoy being present, and soak up every part of the experience in France.
The styling reflected that beautifully. Modern florals in whites, greens, and soft pinks were adorned with delicate pearl details, creating a look that felt elegant, romantic, and fresh. The balance was spot on, refined without feeling formal.
Kasey wore the most incredible lace dress with long sleeves and a high neckline, a total showstopper that suited her perfectly. Parker looked effortlessly sharp in classic black tie. Together, they set the tone for a day that blended timeless style with a relaxed, celebratory feel.

The Wedding Ceremony at Chateau de la Valouze
The ceremony took place in the late afternoon at the front of the chateau, with soft autumn light washing over the setting. Led by a family member, the symbolic ceremony felt personal and meaningful, while still keeping things light and joyful.
Kasey’s entrance was such a beautiful moment, with the low October sun creating the most incredible glow. Guests were fully present, taking in every moment as the ceremony unfolded in front of the chateau.
Afterwards, everyone moved around to the back of the chateau for drinks and canapés. The atmosphere was relaxed and sociable, with guests mingling easily and enjoying the setting. Family photographs and group portraits took place during this time, followed by couple portraits both inside and outside the chateau. The steps at the front made the most stunning backdrop, and Kasey and Parker were excited to make the most of it all!

Dinner and Dancing at Chateau de la Valouze
Dinner was served outside by the orangery as the sun began to dip. The tables were beautifully styled with gold details, brass candlesticks, and hurricane vases, which slowly lit up the space as darkness fell. As the daylight faded, candlelight took over, creating such a warm and intimate atmosphere.
Speeches took place before dinner, setting a lovely tone as the evening began. During the courses, we slipped away briefly for a few golden hour portraits which were stunning! Then Kasey and Parker returned to their guests to finish dinner, surrounded by a soft candlelit glow. The energy slowly built throughout the meal, with laughter and conversation filling the space.
Once dinner wrapped up, the celebrations moved inside the orangery and shifted straight into full party mode. Kasey and Parker changed outfits, Kasey into a short, fun party dress and Parker into a white tux jacket, ready to dance the rest of the night away. From that point on, the dance floor stayed full, with a fun, vibrant crowd keeping the energy high!
