A truly unforgettable day celebrating Kat and Tim’s Aubeterre-sur-Dronne wedding! They brought together their favourite people from all over the world – from the UK, the States, and beyond – for a celebration that felt elegant, joyful, and full of life!

From the very start, this day had such a special energy. Kat and Tim were so excited to get married and celebrate together, and that feeling ran through every part of the day. They chose locations that felt meaningful and memorable, and planned a wedding that balanced beautiful styling with a relaxed atmosphere.

They were married in the breathtaking monolithic church in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, before heading to Chateau le Mas de Montet to continue the celebrations as the sun began to set. Kat’s dress was truly to die for, and Tim looked unbelievably sharp in a classic white tux. Every detail felt considered, thoughtful, and completely them.

It was such a joy to capture this perfect September day. Thank you so much to Kat and Tim for your trust and kindness throughout!

An Aubeterre sur Dronne wedding ceremony at the monolithic church

The ceremony took place inside the incredible monolithic church in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne. This church is carved directly into the rock and flooded with the most beautiful natural light. It’s a space that always takes my breath away, and it created such a powerful setting for Kat and Tim’s ceremony. Live harp music filled the space as Kat made her entrance, adding to the emotion of the moment. Their symbolic ceremony was officiated by a close friend, which made everything feel deeply personal and intimate.

After the ceremony, everyone spilled out into the village streets. Kat and Tim wandered through Aubeterre with their guests, chatting, laughing, and taking photos as they went. It felt relaxed and spontaneous, and was such a fun way to continue the day.

Drinks Reception at Chateau le mas de Montet

A short journey from Aubeterre brought everyone to Chateau le Mas de Montet. The drinks reception took place at the front of the chateau. The setting immediately set a more polished, refined tone, while still feeling warm and welcoming.

There was live acoustic music with guitar and singing, performed by a friend, played throughout the drinks reception. Family and group photographs took place both inside the chateau and out on the front lawn. This venue has so much variety and it was lovely to be able to take advantage of all of the different locations.

Afterwards, Kat, Tim, and I wandered around the grounds together for a few relaxed couple portraits. The light, the setting, and the calm pace made this such a lovely part of the day.

Dinner and Dancing at Chateau le Mas de Montet

Dinner took place at the back of the chateau on the lawn, creating the most intimate and beautiful setting in the French countryside. A fresh green and white colour palette ran through the styling. There was modern florals, handmade name place tiles, and a stunning caterpillar-style table bringing everything together. The result felt elegant yet completely relaxed.

As golden hour arrived, we stepped away for a few final couple portraits, making the most of the soft evening light. Kat then changed into her evening dress – a sleek, modern look that felt perfect for the celebrations ahead.

The first dance took place outside, with live acoustic music once again setting the scene. It was a beautiful, relaxed way to round off the day, before the evening continued under the open sky.

Kat and Tim have such a great eye for detail, and everything about their wedding felt thoughtfully considered without ever feeling overdone. They created a day that brought their closest loved ones together from across the world, and it was such a joy to capture a celebration filled with style, warmth, and genuine connection.
