About Frances Mary Sales
I’m a France wedding photographer based in Normandy, photographing weddings across France. I’m orginally from the UK, but now I live in the beautiful French countryside with my partner and our two rescue dogs. I’ve been working as a wedding photographer since 2011 and have had the pleasure of photographing over 250 weddings across France and Europe! I feel so much gratitude to be invited into such joyful occasions with wonderful people.
Photography is so important to me because images are a lasting memory of a moment in time – a person, an experience, a place. That’s why I love weddings so much. Capturing those memories means everything to me: people being brought together in beautiful locations, the raw emotions of joy and love. My approach to photographing a wedding day is natural, relaxed and unobtrusive, with an artistic eye, careful composition and a strong focus on natural light to create photographs full of warmth and emotion that take you right back to that moment.
Being a wedding photographer is not just my profession, but my passion. I’ve built my business around values that matter to me, with a strong focus on experience, trust and authenticity, and creating a thoughtful, relaxed environment for the couples I work with.
